Leaf Man

Today we read a very fun story entitled "Leaf Man" by Lois Ehlert. Afterwards we went on a leaf hunt to see how many different kinds of leaves we could find. We took the leaves we found and tried to make our own Leaf Man! We ran into a few problems with our leaves because of the messy fall we are having. We found it much easier to build our Leaf Man with printed scans of leaves Mrs. B gave us instead. Check out our hard work!

  1. Thanks for this great idea! We started our Leaf unit late, so all the leaves are gone for us...so I made do using printed templates. :-) Also, the book was checked out from the library, but I found it on You Tube! Yay!

  2. Such a great idea! Would you be willing to share the scans with me? We don't have leaves changing colors yet and would love to do this project soon!
