PJ, Reindeer Pancakes, and a Movie!

It's the day before Winter Break and all through the school, everyone was stirring for the special day that was just plain cool!

Today we finished up our pouring ornaments and prepared for a fun day of pajama wearing, pancake eating, field trip taking, and movie watching!

Students made these fun ornaments by pouring paint into the balls and moving them about. Each one is unique!

It's one of our favorite days of the year! We get to wear our Pajamas to school!

Pancakes are one of the best traditions for pajama day! This year we made them with a twist!

We took our very first field trip to see the movie Frozen with the rest of the school! :) We rode in a big bus!

We had fun today but we miss our two friends D and P! See you when we get back!!

Happy Holidays to All!

Snow Globes

Today was our last official day before break. Tomorrow we will be heading out on our very first filed trip! Too exciting!

Today we made snow globes! We used funnels to get the "snow" into our snow globes. We practiced concepts such as "through" while we worked on our fine motor control for pouring and placing poms in our globe. This activity helped us with color recognition, fine motor control, and following directions.

We added glitter (of course!)

Mrs. B helped us by threading our photos to put inside.

We finished our globes off with a pom!

Presents for our Mom's and Dad's!

Santa "Masks"

Winter break is approaching quickly and with it comes a lot of fun! Today we spent a little time talking about the big man in the red hat. We read a cute book titled "I see Santa Everywhere" and afterwards we made our own Santa disguises. This activity helped with number concepts, vocabulary concepts (on top, around), and fine motor control. We counted how many peanuts it took to make our santa's beard and hair prior to smiling for our photos!
