Spiders, Eye Balls, and Counting! Oh My!

We are about to move into October which means it's time for some creepy crawly fun! Our math lesson today had it all. We are working on one-to-one correspondence while moving objects and counting. We are also working on checking our work and are always working to build our fine motor control. This activity had us counting eyeballs and placing them in our creepy spiders. We were also challenged to make the number with our fingers--something of which we have been working our fingers to the bone on! We worked our pincer fingers to pick up each eyeball as well!

Check out our new Bulletin Board--complete with actual light up lanterns!

  1. Yes, We have learned many finger play songs and practiced counting on fingers a great deal! I am so pleased to see how far the children have come! Thank you for the carryover in the classroom!
