Today we read The Grouchy Ladybug and had a great time with a couple ladybug activities. First we practiced our numbers by adding the correct number of dots to our lady bugs!
Later we made our own ladybugs! We traced our hands and added our own dots. This activity, as well as the one above helped us build a number of skills such as fine motor control, counting, number recognition, shapes, and following directions!
Look at the grip on those crayons! Hip hip hooray! Thank you Mrs. Burns and Mrs. Zucco for all your support in helping the children develop their grip! All those pinching and fine motor activities are making a huge difference for the children in your room!
