N"ew" Year!

Today we continued our New Year's theme by practicing our letter sounds. Today we worked on the "ew" sounds (like in "new" year). We took some fun photos of us practicing our N"EW" Year faces. Later we had a little fun with our silly faces by adding party blowers!

Mrs. Burns helped us by cutting a slit for our party blowers.

We threaded our party blower, glued our photos and our Happy New Year signs on.

This activity helped with letter sounds, fine motor control, color identification, and following directions.

Welcome Back! 2014

Welcome back! Today was our first day back from Winter Break and boy did we miss our friends! We had a great time talking about all the things we did over break. Some of us traveled, some of us played in the snow, and some of us even relaxed a little bit. 

After we talked as a group about all of the things we did over our Winter Break we did a fun activity in answering questions and then we made our own snowman to go along with our answers. 

Later we had to officially ring in the new year and celebrate 2014. Check out our silly photo booth pictures!
