Snow Globes....(in March....)

We have been waiting all winter to do this project! It's March, we know, but we finally have a little snow on the ground. We made ourselves into snow globes and worked on adjectives while doing so. We used descriptive language to define snow! Some of us even hand wrote our own, the others dictated to our teachers.

The tricky leprechaun paid our classroom a visit while we were in computer class! It left behind shamrocks and balloons!

We are The Cat In the Hat

Happy 150th post! Thank you to all of you who come and visit our little blog each week. We are close to 11,000 hits (which is pretty huge for our tiny little preschool class!). If you would like to be better informed of new posts, sign up for email alerts (to the right of the screen).

Today we had a little fun and got even more silly! We pretended to be the Cat in the Hat! We had a blast posing for photos while we talked all about the story. Check us out!

Seuss Juice - Five Senses

We used all five of our senses to try something new again today! Yesterday we tried Green Eggs and Ham, but today we tried Seuss Juice! Seuss Juice was a big mystery to all of us but before we could taste it we had to use our senses to describe it. Once we smelled it, touched it, looked at it, and listened to it, we finally got to taste it and it was yummy!! After we tasted it we came up with a recipe for our own mystery Seuss Juice! Check out our silly answers!

The Leprechaun strikes again! This time he tried to turn our whole day upside down, but only got to our circle time signs! Thank goodness!

Green Eggs and Ham; and Tracking a Leprechaun!

Wow did we have a full day! To start we celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday by making Green Eggs and Ham! We have read the book a few times and were eager to try green eggs and ham! We were all so brave and gave it a chance. We all ended up loving it!

We even tried another version!

St. Patrick's Day is coming and we have been on the look out for a sneaky little leprechaun! Today we found our first bit of evidence; a sock and a green M&M trail! We will continue to monitor his movements and keep track of all of his evidence!
