Today we read one of our favorite Thanksgiving books, Turkey Trouble. The story is about a Turkey who tries to convince those on the farm that Thanksgiving doesn't have to feature a turkey as the main course. After we read Turkey Trouble we made our own turkeys with a spin! Our turkeys include a sign to eat more of our favorite things instead of turkey. This activity reinforced shape identification, following step by step directions, sequencing, and fine motor control.
