Shapes and a Seahorse

Today we worked on our shapes and colors while sticking with our underwater and summer theme of the week! We used tissue paper and shapes to make seahorses! This activity was a lot of fun and allowed us to be very creative! We placed pieces of tissue paper over our shapes (triangle, hexagon, ovals, and circles). We even incorporated the letter J that we worked on yesterday and reviewed all of the "j" words we came up with yesterday. This activity strengthened our fine motor control. creativity, shape recognition, color recognition, and follow direction skills!

Check out our adorable seahorses!
