Making Wishes (Dandelion Seeds)

We have been talking a lot about spring and the earth over the past month. Today we revisited one of our favorite flowers, the dandelion! We talked about how the dandelion spreads its seeds and how much fun we can have in helping that happen! This activity allowed us to work on following verbal directions, fine motor control, gross motor control, facial movements, counting, color recognition, letter sounds, and the concept of seeds. We had a lot of fun with this one! Enjoy!

First we had to be models! We talked about what it looks like to blow out candles or to blow bubbles on the playground.

Our teachers helped us cut ourselves out! We then glued our blowing faces to our papers.

Next we glued down our dandelion stems and seeds!
