Skeleton Flowers

As we continue to work on rhyming words we read a poem entitled Skeleton Flowers by Calef Brown. The poem speaks about the fun skeleton flowers that grow in October. After we read the poem we made our very own skeleton flowers out of bones (q-tips)! We compared straight lines with curved lines in our qtips. We also counted how many curved qtips we had, and how many straight ones we had. This activity helped us with comparing lines (straight and curved), counting, rhyming words, fine motor control, and following directions.
