M.O.M. Spells Mom

We have really been enjoying celebrating Mom this week! As you know, we are all fantastic models and LOVE the camera (and the camera loves us) so we had a great idea for a gift! The gift of us! We talked about a variety of words that begin with the letter M. We practiced writing it, and even practicing writing a couple full words that begin with M. But the most important word that begins with M is "Mom"!

We spent some time in our photo booth with the letter M and a heart for "o". Mrs. Burns helped us put it all together.

All About My Mom!

Today we filled in a fun questionnaire for our moms! We practiced drawing her and answering questions. It helped us with out handwriting, question answering, fine motor control, and creativity! 

CInco De Mayo

It's Cinco De Mayo! What fun! Our school has been studying Mexico throughout the school year and we took advantage of the Mexican Holiday to embrace their culture. We attended a school wide assembly with authentic Mexican lunch and Mexican Dancers! But before that we made our very own sombreros!

Our sombreros were made out of leftover Easter Eggs.

Exploring the Habitat

After yesterday's crazy weather and floods we decided to take a trip out to the school's habitat to explore what the storm left behind.
