Egg Art and Question Answering

We had a lot of fun with eggs today! Mrs. Burns filled a dozen eggshells with paint for us to throw at a canvas. Before we were able to throw our egg we had to answer a question related to something we have studied this year! We got all of our questions correct and had a blast making some active art.

This lesson was great for fine and gross motor development, review of past material, color recognition, information retrieval, and following directions.

Matching Digits and Sight Words

Today we played a fun and active game involving numbers.  We were challenged to match digits to number sight words and then we count out spring eggs it match!  Yesterday we played it in the gym and got ran to each stage! When the wind dies down we can't wait to play it outside!

Whole World-Lorax

We continued talking about Dr. Seuss' the Lorax today. With Earth Day just around the corner we have had some fun Earth friendly learning projects to do, and today was one of our favorites!

First we traced our arms that will be holding up our worlds. Mrs. Burns cut them out for us and we painted them orange or purple. We then attached them to our favorite Lorax quotes! We attached the balloon by threading the tie through our hands.

This activity was a lot of fun!
