200th Post and the Last Day of School!

It's our 200th post and the last day of school! I'd like to thank all those who follow my blog. I truly enjoy sharing our day with you all and enjoy hearing your feedback! For my amazing students and their families, I wish you all a wonderful summer and I will see some of you in just a few weeks! It's been a wonderful school year!

Thank You & an Indoor Picnic

Today was our big end of the year picnic! But before we could celebrate we wanted to take a few minutes and make something special for our parents. We want them to know how much we appreciate all they do for us!

This activity helped us with our fine motor control, following direction, and even spelling! Thanks again Mom and Dad!

Prepositions - Ants and Watermelon

We have been talking about our upcoming picnic to celebrate the end of the school year and while doing so we reviewed prepositions! We talked about all the different ways an ant can move around a piece of delicious watermelon!

We had some fun blowing bubbles on the playground too! We love the warm weather!

It Sure is Hot Out!

It sure is HOT outside! Summer has come early and in preparation for the heatwave we talked about the importance of wearing proper clothing to stay cool. We talked about the differences between shorts and pants, and long sleeves and short sleeves. We decided the best thing to wear in the current heatwave would be shorts and a t-shirt!
