Mother's Day Projects!

This week was dedicated to mom! We have been keeping it all under wraps and can just now post about it! We wrote a few of mom's favorite things, drew a picture of her, made a 3d pop-up card, and an awesome vase that helped us with our fine motor control! It was a great and fun week! Happy Mother's Day Moms!

Cars, in Jars, with Stars- Rhyming Words

Today we spent some time working on rhyming words. We read a fun rhyming book about going to the beach. The whole book takes place in a car and tells a silly story about the ride to the beach with a fun rhyming theme. To stick with our theme we made a 3D project of a car, in a jar, with stars!

Finishing our Letter Pinatas

We practiced writing our pinata letters as well as writing words that start with our first initial  Beginning letter sounds continued to be our focus and we had such a great time making our first initial into a pinata! You can check out the beginning of our project by checking out yesterday's Letter Pinatas!

Today we continued working on letters and beginning letter sounds. We have incorporated the first letter in our names into a fun project with a Cinco De Mayo theme! We are making the first letters of our names into pinatas! We talked about our friends' letter sounds, as well as our own. Check back tomorrow to see how our pinatas turn out!
