Papa, can you please get me the moon?

We had a new friend visit with us today! It was a blast getting to know him and we hope to see him again soon. Thanks for visiting, M!

Today we read the book Papa, Please Get the Moon for Me by Eric Carle. Afterwards we used rectangles and circles to make a scene from the story. Other skills we worked on were; shape identification, color mixing (grey and white), the moon, following directions, fine motor, and even gross motor! After we made our ladder and moon, just like in the story, we posed on the playground as if we were climbing to the moon!  Enjoy!

Owls and Playground Time

Today we continued working on shapes. We worked with ovals, triangles, circles, and the letter 'y' to  make our own owls. Give a Hoot, Don't Pollute!

Later we had such a blast on the playground today. Photos, bubbles, sunglasses, chalk, and fun!

Shape Iris

We continued working on shapes today as we made our very own iris. Our irises were made of circles, rectangles, triangles, and squares! This activity helped us build our shape identification skills, fine motor skills, and following directions.
