We feel it's about time for some snow around here! In hopes of snow we made our own puffy snowmen today. We mixed equal parts glue and shaving cream to make these adorable men. We worked on circles, variant sizes ("small, medium, large", "big, bigger, biggest"), multi-step directions, and fine motor.

Germs!!
Although we have been working on sharing with our friends, today was all about keeping it to ourselves; germs that is! We read a fun story about a reluctant germ who did not want to make a young girl sick. Along with the story we talked about the different ways we could keep our germs to ourselves, including 'Batman Sneezes' and 'Dracula Coughs'. As well as the importance of using a tissue and washing our hands. Then, as always, we had a little fun with it and made the fun Germ Portraits below. Enjoy!

Rocking Out in Performing Arts
We had a blast playing a few instruments in Performing Arts today. Our class lives and loves music! Check out a few pictures from our jam session.
H is for Heart
It will be Valentine's Day before we know it! Today we worked a little more on our lacing techniques and had some fun making a threaded heart! They are sure to tug at YOUR heart strings ;)

I is for Ice Skate
With this unseasonable weather its hard to remember it's Winter! In hopes of an upcoming snow fall this season, we made ice skates. This activity allowed us to be creative while working on our fine motor skills, lacing, prepositions (up, down, around, under), color recognition, counting one-to-one correspondence, and following directions. Once we painted our ice skates we laced them up!
