It's 'All About Me' Week!

This week's theme is all about me! We are learning new things about ourselves and our friends through various activities. Today we traced ourselves for an upcoming surprise! The theme carried over into math as we talked about our birthdays, wrote our numbers, and counted objects that we loved! During reading and language we talked about describing words and what we like most about being ourselves!

We missed our classmate, T, today! We hope you are feeling better!!

Pinwheels for 'Whirled' Peace

Since the beginning of the school year we have been working on our beautiful pinwheels with Ms. Donze in art class. Once they were complete we were invited to participate in Pinwheels for 'Whirled' Peace with the entire school. Our pinwheels stayed on display all day (and into the next week!)

F is for Fizz!

Since this week's letter is 'F' we decided to make Fizz! We worked on fine motor control with our eye droppers, as well as letter sounds, color identification, and following directions. We did a great job and had a blast making Fizz!

Today we celebrated our school's 38th birthdy!

Making a School During LT

We worked hard to put together a house during our LT lesson this week. We worked with colors, shapes, following steps and directions, and fine motor skills.

Nanook Visits the New Class

We all had a blast welcoming Nanook to our class today.

S is for snake, school, & SPAGHETTI!

We have been working with the letter S all week and one of our favorite words is "spaghetti"! So we decided to paint with it!

This project helped us work on letter recognition, letter sounds, color identification, sensory integration, following directions, and fine motor skills.
