Take me to London!

Keeping with the London Summer Olympic theme we turned a lesson on rectangles into a Double Decker bus!

Playground!

Day two was great! We worked hard during circle time on our calendar skills, counting, letters, and  skill assessment. During table top we worked on handwriting, shapes, puzzles, and colors.

In addition to our academic work we had the chance to visit the playground for the first time!

2012 Summer Session Begins!

Welcome to all of our new friends! We had such a blast on our first day of summer session!

Meet the new class!

We had time to get to know our new classmates this morning.

We had a blast playing in the gym during recess.

Later we worked on sorting and graphing Fourth of July Marshmallows!

We counted together....

...and then got creative with Red, White, & Blue paint....

....then we used all sorts of shapes to decorate our snack place mats!

It was such a fun first day! We are looking forward to a fabulous summer!

It's Almost Summer!!

We are wrapping up our school year and gearing up for Summer Session!

Student's Choice!

Today we were able to pick our favorite activitiy from the past few months and do it again! The messiest one of course!

Rectangles

Our rectangle study had us building an English phone booth out of 13 rectangles and one half-circle!
